Oakland b Mine
Oakland b Mine is the story of a young traveler who sees the woman of his dreams at the Oakland International Airport. This woman, siren-like seduces him into pursuing her via a flirtatious game of cat and mouse throughout the city, taking both he and the viewer on a clever, yet visual, tour of Oakland. Her name just happens to be Oakland :-).
This project was commissioned by the Port of Oakland's Public Art program and facilitated by the Oakland Museum of California. It will screen at the Airport for 1 year on a newly built 25-foot Media Wall in the Southwest Airline terminal.
